Dr. VanCleave was born in La Grande, Oregon, and grew up on Cricket Flat outside of Elgin, Oregon. After graduating from Imbler High School, he attended the University of Oregon, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Physiology. After college, Dr. VanCleave graduated from OHSU School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon.

In his free time, Dr. VanCleave enjoys time spent with his wife, two dogs, and family. His favorite hobbies include eating and cooking good food, along with procuring food through hunting and fishing.
