Lauren was drawn to medicine because of her deep love of science and the human connection. She enjoys family medicine in particular for the opportunity to give comprehensive care and develop long-term relationships with her patients. She is especially honored to serve the close-knit communities of Wallowa County where she feels a deep connection to the land and people.

Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She then gained valuable experience as a Medical Assistant in reproductive endocrinology in Seattle, Washington, and family medicine on Orcas Island, where she discovered the joy of caring for patients through every stage of life. With the goal of providing primary care to the residents of Rural Oregon, she went on to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

Born and raised in La Grande, Lauren is thrilled to return to rural life in Eastern Oregon and work alongside the talented providers at Winding Waters. She has special interests in women’s health, promoting mental health awareness, and the treatment and prevention of chronic disease.

Outside of medicine, Lauren enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing, cooking, diving into new art projects, and spending time with her family. She feels deeply grateful to live and work in Wallowa County and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
