Anna Lembke

Anna Lembke is a Mental Health Counselor here at Winding Waters. She works with youth and adults alike, and sees people with all different backgrounds. Anna was inspired to become a counselor after a ten year career as a fitness professional, when she found a desire to create lasting change that was not solely focused on the physical body. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications and Master’s in Psychology and Education from Pepperdine University. She also has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University.
Currently Anna offers individual counseling for youth and adults needing support in a variety of areas: depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, life transitions, grief, and enhancing resilience and wellness. Specific treatments she provides include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT, insight oriented talk therapy, and mind-body approaches to strengthen resilience and improve wellness.
Motivated by the resilience of the people she engages in counseling with, Anna is moved everyday to continue expanding her work to support our community, and create greater wellness within herself. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time outside and reading.
