Ann Foley, PT

“I was born in Manhattan, New York, lived in the Bronx, and grew up mostly in the suburb of White Plains, New York. A career test in high school indicated physical therapy was a 90% match for a profession but at the time I was a little queasy around hospitals. My interest in physical therapy grew over time from my work in the fitness field. My educational background includes a B.S. degree in Physical Education from the University of Massachusetts, a M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Smith College, and a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico.
I met my partner, Deb in 1974 and we moved out West in 1990. Next fall, we will be celebrating 50 years together. I came to Wallowa County from Central Oregon as a travel PT in February 2010 to work at Wallowa Memorial Hospital. I was hired as a permanent employee in May 2011 and worked at the hospital for 8 ½ years. I started working for Winding Waters last October 2022. I am grateful for the opportunity to practice at Winding Waters Clinic with such dedicated and caring professionals. I love outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, and camping.”
